- How often do you meet?
Usually every other month unless there is a big event that needs planning.
- Where do you meet?
For convenience usually Manchester or Liverpool. You don’t have to attend all meetings, so pick the ones nearest to you. We do pay travel costs.
- What do you do at meetings?
Usually it consists of discussing any CILIP business that needs a response, then event planning.
- Do I have to take on a particular role?
Not unless you want to. You can just join the committee and contribute your ideas and enthusiasm.
- Do I need any particular experience?
No you should just be a CILIP ARLG member or student member. It’s a great way for those new to the profession to start to understand the sector and make some contacts.
